Everything that happens on your account is recorded as a notification, newest first.
What you get notified about
Your notification inbox tells you about: QXC arriving in your wallet, account approval or restriction decisions (with appeal outcomes when there is one), decisions on your plan requests, a HANU course registration run finishing, a QxMarket position settling, an unfinished QxGame round being closed automatically for inactivity, and — if you use Messages — a new device being added or a device asking for your chat history. Administrators additionally see mint requests waiting for approval.
Where to see them
The bell icon shows how many notifications are unread (the displayed count never goes above 99) and opens a quick view of the latest ones. See everything at /notifications, filter by all or unread only, and mark everything as read whenever you like.
Notifications stay reachable even while your account is pending approval or restricted.
Muting pop-ups by category
In notification settings you can turn off pop-up alerts for individual categories: Wallet, Plans, Services, Games. Account, Administration and site-wide announcements always reach you and cannot be muted, since those are either about your own account or affect everyone. Muting a category only stops the pop-up — the notification still lands in your inbox as usual.
Browser notifications
You can also turn on system-level browser notifications for the device you're using, shown while the tab is running in the background. Your browser will ask for permission the first time you enable this.
