Sending QXC to another address happens entirely from your wallet, and you can follow it afterward in the Explorer.
Sending QXC
On Transfer, enter the recipient's address and the amount, then sign with your wallet passphrase — the request is signed on your device before it's sent. The server checks the signature, that you actually own the funds, and that the recipient address's checksum is valid before accepting it.
Fees and amounts
There is currently no fee for a transfer, and the amount is shown in QXC only, with no other currency alongside it.
Confirming with your passphrase, not a password re-check
Sending QXC doesn't ask for the extra password-confirmation step other sensitive actions use — the transfer itself is already signed by your wallet key, and only your passphrase can unlock that key, so the signature already proves you're the one sending it.
If something goes wrong
- An invalid address or a bad checksum is rejected before anything moves.
- A transfer can only go to another user's wallet — you cannot send directly to a system account (for example, the network's own reserves).
- A signed transfer can only be submitted once; resubmitting the same signed request doesn't move funds a second time.
See Limits and error codes for the exact messages.
Following your transfer
After sending, you can look up the transaction, its block, or an address in the QXC Explorer, at Explorer.
