The global search palette gets you straight to a page, post or service without hunting through menus.
Opening search
Search is only available once you are signed in, since it is built into the main app shell. Press ⌘K on macOS or Ctrl K on Windows/Linux anywhere in the app to open it.
What it finds
Type into "Search pages, posts and services" and results are split into three groups: Pages (app pages such as Wallet, Faucet, Settings…), Posts (QxBlog articles) and Services (published services). You need to type at least 2 characters before posts and services start showing up; page search does not need that.
A gated post still shows up in results with a "Locked" label — search only matches a post's title, excerpt and tags, and never looks inside a gated post's paid content.
How matching works
Search ignores accents and tolerates small typos, so you don't need to type every diacritic or spell a word exactly to find the post or service you're after. Each result group only shows a limited number of matches rather than the full list, so the palette stays quick and easy to scan.
Opening a result
Pick a result to jump straight to that page. Some pages open in a new tab.
Searching too fast
If you type and search too quickly in a row, the palette tells you that you're searching too fast and invites you to try again in a moment. If results fail to load for some other reason, the palette says so too, rather than leaving you with an empty, unexplained result list.
